I draw your attention to the 1st entry and 1st subdivision in the definition of freedom.
"1: the quality or state of being free: as
a: the absence of necessity, coercion, or
constraint in choice or action"
Have you ever truly felt the sensation of freedom run through your veins? Does it make you tingle, or does it make you burn from inside? Does it perhaps make you feel like you are on a roller coaster ride and you just took the first big drop straight down from a mind breaking height? Freedom *sigh* I think somewhere in me perhaps she really does exist...at least I have a sneaky suspision...I am just never around to see her spread her wings and fly...
...then again do I really want to be there to see it? I mean, freedom can be an amazingly liberating experience...but it can also be a horrible tragedy waiting to happen if placed into the hands of someone who is not quite ready to handle such an abstract part of life. With freedom you have the ability to take yourself to new levels that would blow your mind and improve your life beyond what you would ever have thought...but with freedom you also have the ability to not feel, not think, not care, to not "constrain" yourself "in choice or action" and then you can find yourself hurting yourself or others...
Freedom...she's a tricky one, at least I have a feeling she is.
I leave you with a quote...it has made me think...it is short...but let the words resound for a moment in your mind, and then let it wander (your mind that is) and see where it takes you...what is freedom to you, who is freedom to you, where is freedom to you...
